Generating and maintaining reliable data to identify key sources of air pollution will inform and enhance countries' capacity to establish and implement data-based air quality management policies. The project will assist two to three selected countries in deploying low-cost air quality monitoring equipment in locations where performance can be compared to the most accurate air quality monitors, such as those already installed at U.S. diplomatic posts. The Meteorological Service Canada (MSC) has a requirement for the combination of supply, delivery, and support (availability of parts and servicing) of air temperature sensors over the next 10 years. The air temperature sensors must be compatible with MSC’s existing infrastructure and data acquisition system.
